Who are we?
Happy Periods is a menstrual education project whose main purpose is to promote taboo-free menstrual experiences through self-knowledge, self-care and self-love, by holding educational workshops and promoting sustainable menstrual products.
What do we do?
We promote educational and informative spaces where girls, teenagers, women and people who menstruate can discuss, share and learn assertively, critically and in context about their menstrual experiences. We promote healthy and safe menstrual experiences through the production and sale of reusable cloth sanitary pads, called ECOPADS. They are handmade with local products, cotton-based fabrics and are free of chemicals.

Menstrual Educator
I am Diana Palacios, creator and founder of Happy Periods. I am a Latin American woman of Colombian origin, a menstrual educator with studies in environmental engineering, education and communication in my country of origin. As a menstrual educator, I am dedicated to redefining the menstrual cycle and menstruation of girls, teenagers, women and menstruating people in informed, healthy, sustainable and powerful experiences.
