Workshops

The goals of the workshops are:

Transform the way girls and women inhabit their bodies and navigate their menstrual experiences by observing, recognizing, and interpreting their own cyclicity, and deciding about their bodies in an autonomous way.

Encourage girls, young women, and women to listen to, touch, taste, and feel the rhythm of their own bodies as a territory that reveals a cyclical, unique, valuable, and powerful menstrual experience.

Motivate girls and women to understand their cyclicity and menstrual rights. We aim for each of them to love and value their menstruation with dignity, autonomy, and health in mind.

Offered workshops:

Accompanied Menstruations

Aimed at mothers with daughters aged 8 to 15. A space for mothers to positively redefine their menstrual cycle and menstruation while gaining information and tools to support their daughters in their menarche and cyclicity.

Healthy Menstruations

Designed for women and menstruating individuals. The workshop aims for participants to understand their menstrual cycle and menstruation as vital signs of health. Emphasizing that menstruating each month contributes to women’s health, and feeling healthy rather than “imperfect” positively transforms the way they experience menstruation.

Changing Menstruations

Targeted at women experiencing symptoms of perimenopause. Participants will explore the changes, self-care practices, and potentialities of life after menstruation. It’s an invitation to redefine menopause without taboos, embracing collective experience, fullness, and wisdom.

Additional Workshops:

Menstrual blood speaks to us every month

This workshop aims for participants to develop a close relationship with their menstrual blood by observing, recognizing, and interpreting their own menstrual blood. The goal is to understand healthy patterns individually, not those imposed by medical science or the FemCare industry.

Reusable menstrual products for safe, healthy, and informed menstruation

Participants get hands-on experience with various reusable menstrual products while learning about the realities and myths surrounding them. The use of these products is discussed in context and according to the needs and comfort of the users.

Recognizing the rhythm of my cyclicity through the Lunar Diagram

Participants understand that menstruating for the first time doesn’t mean “becoming women” but rather becoming cyclical beings. It’s crucial to recognize the energy, emotions, and physical changes to live more positive menstrual experiences. The workshop teaches women how to use the lunar diagram.

ECOPAD made with recycled materials

Participants craft their own cloth pad using materials that can be found at home. The manual creation of ECOPADS includes reflections on the menstrual cycle and menstruation. Specific tools such as fabric scissors, polyester thread, snap buttons, and snap pliers are required for this workshop.
